I hope that we are moving towards a time where we are no longer separated by different values. But that we may recognize the same values in diversity. I recognize a lot in a good friend of mine with a Jewish father. I recognize the way in which we do not really want to be here and are connected with death. The way we feel we do not belong. And the way we feel that we are in a somewhat arrogant way above them. We share this and I enjoy his companionship and above all the openness to communicate this with him. In this we are brothers with the same fate.
I go for a humanity of unique differences, but also with a sense of the actual unity. Which can be seen as the same God, Allah or whatever we want to call this. As equals under the sun of Abraham. All three desert religions (Muslims, Christians and Jews) share stories from the Old Testament.
